Ottawa Valley Watch & Clock Collectors Club     OVWCCC

About the OVWCCC

The Ottawa Valley Watch and Clock Collectors Club met for the first time in September 1975.

The club is a Chapter Member (Chapter 111) of the NAWCC, the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors.

Today our members have a broad spectrum of interests in the field of horology.

Our members are interested in watches, pocket watches, clocks and grandfather clocks for:

  • Collecting,
  • Research on time pieces, clockmakers and manufacturers,
  • Training to learn repair skills,
  • Tools, old and new, for maintaining and building,
  • Supporting the public (ie the Museum of Science and Technology's clock collection)

Our members are our experts and are interested and willing to share their knowledge.

We also invite distant experts for meeting presentations and training courses.

We meet face-to-face five times a year and offer Zoom capabilities for our remote members.

OVWCCC is a non-profit social club
