Plenary Presentation
Dynamic Poising of Balance Wheels
Blair Chandler - OVWCCC Member
Blair Chandler will deliver a presentation focusing on the dynamic poising of balance wheels, an essential aspect in the construction and performance of wrist watches and pocket watches.
The process of dynamic poising involves ensuring that the balance wheel is evenly balanced while in motion. This careful adjustment reduces the risk of irregular movement and enhances the accuracy of the watch.
By addressing the specific techniques and considerations for each type, Blair will provide valuable insights into improving the timekeeping precision of horological devices.
