OVWCCC In-Person Meeting - Praque Astronomical Clock

Plenary Presentation

Ian Campbell is a member of the OVWCCC and resides in Ottawa. His interest in horology began in childhood, when he tinkered with a gingerbread clock. During his teens and early twenties, his interest deepened, and he acquired several North American clocks at farm auctions. However, his tinkering left most of these clocks ‘displaying the correct time twice a day.” School, career, and family soon took precedence over his continued pursuit of horology. Now retired, Ian has rediscovered this longstanding interest. He joined the OVWCCC a year ago. A June trip to the Czech Republic focused on the Astronomical Clock in Prague.
